Ryleigh had cereal today!

Ryleigh did really well! Take a look at the video- see the link on the left. We had a good day today and were so happy that Daddy was working from home today so he could help us! Oh- and Ryleigh helped Daddy work on the computer too!

She just makes our hearts melt. Tomorrow we try cereal for the first time!!! I think I am more excited than Ryleigh!

Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day Everyone!

We had our 4 month visit to the doctor today. Ryleigh weighs 16 lbs. 2 oz. and is 25 inches long. She is in the 95th percentile for height and the 85th percentile for weight. The doctor was impressed with everything she is able to do. And said we can start solid foods. So we will give that a try on Thursday. She did very good with her shots cried a little but was fine within five minutes.

She had a very nice Valentine's Day got nice cards and gifts and gave her daddy a nice card a photo album and some peanut M&Ms.

4 months old today!

Ryleigh is 4 months old today!!! We went to iHop for breakfast to celebrate. Whoo hoo. We had a very good day- can't believe its only 3:45pm.... Feels like midnight.

So many changes

Wow... Today we are seeing a whole new baby. She is talking a lot, sitting really well, holding her own bottle, trying to move around on her own, and almost rolling from her back to front. So her cosleeper had to be reconfigured so she can't roll out. And, we learned that she hates when Paul makes noises that sound like cars fighting... She wailed and wailed!

All these changes... She's staring to be so "independent". Makes us happy and sad at the same time.
