9 months old today!

She is growing up! She had a rough delivery and for the first few weeks we struggled to get her to gain weight, but today she is a happy and strong girl!

She is eating all kinds of foods, she can crawl, pull herself up, clap her hands, sway and bounce to music,"talk", "sing" and today she stood on her own for about 10 seconds! See the video on the left.

She loves to read touch and feel books. Two favorites are the ABC's from Great-Aunt Becky and one about airplanes from Aunt Mandy! We love talking about why airplane wings should not be bumpy and why the engines should not be lumpy. Paul and I feel an early introduction to physics and aerodynamics is important. (Hee Hee) Actually- its fun and it's a way to get her involved in some of the words and phrases she hears us talk about most every day.

Our little angel is fast asleep and I need to get some too, so I will sign off. Good night all!

It seems every day it gets harder to take Ryleigh's picture! She moves so fast most turn out blurry!

She is getting around!

This little girl can move! She has explored everything. She can crawl and stand up and has made a few attempts to stand on her own without support and she can scoot herself backwards on her buggy.

Had a wonderful visit with Gramma Jane and she got to see Ryleigh in action!
