Finally posted three new videos. I think i'm still delinquent on one of them - I think the rolling over one. I filmed that on the camera and I hate to say it, but it's just so much easier to upload to YouTube from my phone (who knew!).
We reached a milestone last night- Ryleigh slept in her room and Mommy slept with Daddy in their room! It went well - Ryleigh is back to getting up to eat in the night, but it's typcially around 11pm and then again at 5am, so it's not terrible. She also makes some squeaks/cries around 2:30 and 3:30, but it's nothing a paci or turning on the ocean sounds doesn't fix.
So, this morning we're both doing pretty good- she's playing on the floor and I'm doing this. She's really good at being on her tummy - very strong and can stay there for quite a while. She's trying to move around to get things that are out of her reach and is making progress toward crawling.
This morning she had sweet potatoes for the first time and enjoyed that. She just really likes to eat in general (as you will be able to see in the video).
Luckily her health has been good for a while now - she's got a bit of a runny nose, but i'm not as phased by that as I used to be. Her buddy, Evan, at school has already had bronchitis and was rushed to the emergency room because he couldn't breathe. Then the other day he went home short of breath and had a 102 temp... So, I'm very happy our robust little Ryleigh hasn't experienced the same symptoms considering they play together a lot.
Now she's playing sitting up - she's good at sitting too- just have her surrounded by her boppy pillow incase she tips over, but she's strong enough to sit up on her own. Another little new friend at school, Natalia, is 3 months old and she's having trouble - her metabolism is so high that she as not been able to gain weight very well and is lagging in holding her head up - her neck and back muscles are just too weak. So, I have to say - I feel very very fortunate that Ryleigh is as healthy as she is.
I better get movin'
Hope you all have a wonderful day!
